Video: Looks Like Somebody Else Broke Into Old Joliet Prison

JOLIET, IL — Looks like another guy broke into the old Joliet prison.

This one posted a video documenting his exploration of the shuttered Joliet Correctional Center. Apparently, it’s the debut of a series based on his “adventures” in “urban exploring.”

In his video description, he says, “besides doing vocal/guitar covers, I also enjoy urban exploring and I want you guys to follow me on my adventures!!! Hope you enjoyed my first episode of 'Exploring with michel' because theres plenty more to come! one quick question, should i make them longer?”

Fortunately for this urban explorer, he seems to have made it in and out without getting picked up by the state cops.

The abandoned prison on Collins Street was built a century and a half ago. It closed in 2002.
