Wanted Man Killed In Head-On Crash Had Beaten Other Driver With Gun: Cops
The woman who survived the crash had allegedly been beaten by the other driver.

Willard Lesley, 25, was wanted on felony charges of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery and possessing a weapon as a felon, as well as misdemeanor domestic battery charges, for allegedly pistol whipping Sharletha Veasy, also 27.
Lesley was killed Sunday morning in a head-on collision with Veasy’s car on Princeton Street near Fairmount Avenue just outside Joliet. Veasy was injured but survived the crash.
Court records show Lesley and Veasy lived together in a Pioneer Road apartment in Crest Hill as recently as two years ago.
Less than a year and a half ago, Lesley allegedly beat Veasy’s face with a gun. A warrant for his arrest was obtained in January 2015. Lesley was never arrested in connection with the case.
The Will County Sheriff’s Department was still investigating the fatal crash.
