White Castle Employees Hit Panic Alarm, Joliet Police Respond, Arrest 43-Year-Old Woman
Joliet police learned the woman had five arrest warrants out of Cook County for failing to appear in court on previous criminal charges.

JOLIET, IL — Every so often, Joliet's Police Department is called to the White Castle fast-food restaurant at the busy intersection of Larkin and West Jefferson, and this week's call for service resulted in the arrest of a 43-year-old woman out of South Holland who had five separate warrants out for her arrest from authorities in Cook County.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, Lynwellyn Gudger is now charged with criminal trespass and resisting a peace officer, plus her multiple Cook County arrest warrants.
On Tuesday night, Gudger's presence at the Joliet White Castle led to a police response, and that's why she's now in the Will County Jail, her arrest report alleges.

According to English, at 10 p.m., officers responded to the White Castle at 1803 W. Jefferson St. for an alarm. White Castle employees had triggered the alarm after a woman who had been previously told by staff to leave from the restaurant had returned, officials said.
Officers found the woman in the restaurant, and she was identified as Gudger. Officers learned that she had five warrants for her arrest out of Cook County for failing to appear in court on previous criminal charges. She was placed into custody following a brief struggle in which she attempted to pull away from Joliet's officers, English said.

Gudger was processed at the Joliet Police Department and later transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for the outstanding Cook County warrants.
Gudger spent Tuesday night in the Will County Jail and by 9:40 a.m., Wednesday, jail officials let her out of the building, returning her to the streets of Joliet.
