Wild Teenage Girl Lies, Kicks Cop, Bangs Head Off Wall & Talks Suicide After Stealing Energy Drink & Chips: Police
She lied about her name but the cops found her out when her mom met them at the hospital, police said.

JOLIET, IL — A teenage girl lied about her name and age after the cops caught her stealing a Monster energy drink and chips, police said, then struggled with officers, kicked one in the knee and said she wanted to commit suicide.
Workers from the Circle K on West Jefferson Street stopped the 17-year-old in the service station parking lot after they saw her her filch the Monster drink and chips about 3 a.m. Sunday, police said.
Officers arrived and the Shorewood teen allegedly claimed to be an 18-year-old with a different name. The officers tried to write the teen a ticket but she refused to sign it, police said. The officers then reportedly decided to arrest her and got a handcuff around one of her wrists, but she slipped her hand free.

After eventually getting the girl into handcuffs and down to the police station, she was uncooperative and kicked an officer in the knee, police said. She then reportedly began banging her head off the wall and saying “she did not want to live” anymore.
The teen was taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center for an evaluation and her mother met officers there, police said. The mother reportedly told them her daughter was actually 17 and provided them with her real name.

Once the hospital cleared the teen to be released, she was taken to River Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
