Will County DUI Arrests: Feb. 2

Recent driving under the influence arrests from around Will County.

Bolingbrook

Jan. 19 Jose Diaz, 53, 3435 83rd St., Woodridge, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. and charged with traffic sign violation, DUI and possession of drug equipment following a traffic stop at Pinecrest Road and Liberty Drive, police said.

Jan. 18 Trupeshkumar Patel, 32, 610 Barclay Dr., was arrested at 6:24 p.m. and charged with failure to signal, illegal transportation of alcohol and DUI following traffic stop on the 600 block of Barclay Drive, police said.

Jan. 17 Alberto Arreguin, 34, 14012 Emerson Ct., Plainfield, was arrested at 12:14 p.m. and charged with DUI following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Weber Road, police said. 

Jan. 16 Charles Johnson, 69, 136 Maplewood Dr., was arrested at 3:55 p.m. and charged with DUI, following a traffic stop on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive, police said.

Plainfield

Jan. 26 Romulo Zhanay, 20, of the 2000 block of Vermette Circle, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 5:20 a.m. at Renwick Road and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

Jan. 25 Keith Lany, 40, of the 16000 block of River Road, Plainfield, was arrested by Plainfield police at 11:54 p.m. at Fort Beggs Drive and Route 59 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

Jan. 25 Lukasz J. Kociubinski, 25, of the 20000 block of Barrington Street, Plainfield, was arrested by Romeoville police and taken to the Will County jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked or suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said.

Jan. 21 Kimberly D'Angelo, 45, of the 24000 block of Illini Drive, Plainfield, was arrested by  Plainfield police  at 9:36 pm. at Lockport Street and Van Dyke Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting/obstructing a peace officer, police said.

Joliet

Jan. 29 Sergio Guzman, 34, 324 Stone St., Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 29 on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence.

Jan. 27 Oscar J. Ramirez, 37, 5 N. Center, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 27 on charges of driving under the influence, blood alcohol over .08, driving on a revoked/suspended license and improper traffic lane usage.

Jan. 26 Leon Franchini, 31, 712 Oneida, Joliet, arrested by the Joliet Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 26 on a charge of felony driving under the influence.

Jan. 26 Steven R. Brown, 25, 1007 Lindsay, Joliet, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 26 on charges of driving under the influence and speeding 21 to 25 mph over the limit.

Romeoville

Jan. 28 Christopher R. Juarez, 19, 211 Hayes, Romeoville, arrested by the Will County Sheriff's Office and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 28 on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, possession of 2.5 to 10 grams of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and exceeding speed in construction zone.

Jan. 27 James Regalado, 54, 174 Highpoint, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 27 on a felony charge of driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and on three warrants for failure to appear.

Jan. 25 Lukasz J. Kociubinski, 25, 20943 W. Barrington St., Plainfield, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department and booked into the Will County jail on Jan. 25 on charges of driving under the influence, driving on a revoke/suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed.

Jan. 4 Alexander Elizzar, 18, 27 Belmont Drive, Romeoville, arrested by the Romeoville Police Department at about 11:20 p.m. Jan. 4 at Shenandoah Drive and Princeton Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, hit and run, no insurance, failure to reduce speed and disobeying a traffic sign.

Shorewood

Jan. 27 Manuel E. Alvarez, 21, 513 156th Place, Calumet City, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting/obstructing a peace officer at 3:46 a.m. Jan. 27 at Southwest Frontage and Seil roads, Shorewood police said. Reports state Alvarez was also ticketed for improper lane usage and no valid driver's licence after officers responded to an accident. Alvarez was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

Minooka

Jan. 27 Rogelio Torres, 20, of Channahon, was arrested in the 100 block of Ridge Road and Industrial Drive on a charge of DUI, police said.
