Will County Man Charged With Assault After Stabbing Man In Stomach: PD
Leroy Anderson, 30, faces the charges after he was arrested by Joliet Police following the incident in which he reportedly stabbed a man.

JOLIET, IL — A 30-year-old Will County man faces aggravated battery charges after being arrested by Joliet Police recently in connection with the stabbing of another man, prosecutors said.
Leroy Anderson was charged was booked into the Will County Jail after police said he became involved in an altercation with Deavion Smith, whom he stabbed in the stomach on July 1, according to a criminal complaint.
Anderson was charged with aggravated battery in connection with the stabbing and caused bodily harm to Smith during the fight.

Anderson was being held on $100,000 bond in the Will County Jail.
