Will County Men Had Guns, Planned To Deliver Pot, Cocaine: Police
Nathaniel J. Jobe and Antonio D. Edwards both have previous convictions and prosecutors recently added charges for drug and gun possession.

JOLIET, IL — Two Will County men face drug and weapon charges after being recently arrested and charged by Will County prosecutors in connection with the attempt to deliver and sell drugs, officials said.
Nathaniel J. Jobe, 40, and Antonio D. Edwards, 38, were charged with weapons and drug offenses, according to a criminal complaint after they were recently arrested by Joliet police.
Jobe was charged with armed habitual criminal and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, Will County prosecutors said. Officials said that Jobe had possession of a .38 caliber handgun after previously being convicted of unlawful use of a weapon and for delivery of marijuana, according to the criminal complaint.

He was also in possession of a .40 caliber handgun, officials said after he was previously convicted of delivery of marijuana. In addition to the weapons charges, Jobe was also charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver after prosecutors said that he was in possession of between 15 and 99 grams of a substance containing cocaine, prosecutors said. He was also recently charged with being in possession of more than 2,000 grams of marijuana with the intent to deliver.
Edwards was charged with being in possession of a stolen handgun and was also recently charged with being in possession of at least 30 grams of marijuana with the intent to deliver. He was also found to be in possession of less than 15 grams of a substance containing cocaine.

Edwards, who was previously convicted of aggravated battery, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, prosecutors said, after he was found with the handgun.
