Will Judge Set Tattoo Face Kiddie Porn Guy Free?
The judge said Tattoo Face Kiddie Porn guy's supposed plot to kidnap a little girl and kill the child's mother was "irrelevant."

JOLIET, IL — A tattoo-faced man’s supposed plot to kidnap a little girl and kill the child’s mother is “irrelevant” as far as it goes for his pending sentence for possessing child pornography, a judge said Friday morning.
“I already told you it’s irrelevant,” Will County Judge Sarah Jones snapped at prosecutor John Connor.
“I’m not considering that as a factor — move on sir,” Judge Jones said.

Connor was pushing for 28-year-old Andrew Castro to serve some prison time and made mention of the Crest Hill man’s alleged scheme to abduct a young girl and kill the child’s mother if she got in the way. Castro supposedly hatched the plan with his 31-year-old brother, Levi Castro, who got off with probation after pleading guilty in April 2015 to possessing child pornography.
The Castro brothers were arrested after the cops raided the Theodore Street home where they lived with their parents in December 2014.

After they were taken into custody, the two brothers allegedly confided to the cops that they batted around the idea of abducting a young girl but were arrested before actually doing anything about it. An investigator with the Will County State’s Attorney’s High Technology Crimes Unit testified about the appalling plan during the Castros’ bond hearing, an official said.
The investigator told how the Castro brothers “discussed possibly kidnapping a child, a baby, sexually assaulting the baby and then killing, or disposing of the baby, and if the mother of the child got in the way, killing the mother,” the official said.
In making his case to put Andrew Castro in prison, Connor said a sex offender evaluation showed the tattoo-faced kiddie porn guy not only had a thing for little girls, but also fantasized about having sex with the family dog. Andrew Castro developed his attraction to the dog after he had his first sexual experience at the age of 12, Connor said.
Andrew Castro’s attorney, Timothy Specht, pointed out that his client had a difficult childhood. The Castro family was homeless for seven years, Specht said, and lived in various shelters. Andrew Castro was also plagued by mental illness and was hospitalized for it four times, said Specht.
Judge Jones said she wanted to further review Andrew Castro’s sex offender evaluation and put off his sentencing until later this month. She said the additional time would give Specht an opportunity to find Andrew Castro a place to live in the event he is freed on probation.
Andrew Castro cannot return to his family’s home because the terms of probation would prohibit him from residing with another sex offender, and his brother is already back living there.
