Woman, 24, Disrespects Joliet Police Officer After Crash: JPD
Gisselle Galindo, 24, was identified as one of the drivers involved in the crash.

JOLIET — A 24-year-old Joliet woman was arrested by the Joliet Police Department after being involved in a collision over the weekend during the early morning hours of Sunday, police said.
According to the department, Gisselle Galindo was arrested and released on a notice to appear in Will County court on charges of aggravated battery.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 3:50 a.m. Oct. 27, officers responded to McDonough Street and Railroad Street for a crash. Galindo was one of the drivers involved in the crash.

During the investigation, an officer held the keys to Galindo’s vehicle to prevent her from driving away from the scene. Galindo grew upset and approached an officer, according to English, then slapped the arm of an officer who tried to escort her away from the officer she was approaching.
Galindo was placed into custody without incident, police said.
