A California investment company is trying to sell the property at 3000 Plainfield Road where the Raising Cane's restaurant is being built.

JOLIET, IL — If you've been thinking about owning property with the new Raising Cane's chicken fingers restaurant as your tenant, an opportunity awaits you in Joliet.

A California-based investment company is now trying to sell the property at 3000 Plainfield Road for $3.5 million. The Raising Cane's restaurant will encompass 3,372 square feet.

According to the real estate listing on LoopNet, Raising Cane's has signed a 15-year lease, with five options to extend that lease even further into the future.

"Raising Cane’s is under an absolute NNN, corporate ground lease and is responsible for the construction and costs of all the improvements," according to SRS Real Estate Partners. "The brand new state-of-the-art property will feature high quality construction and Raising Cane’s latest prototype. Headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Raising Cane’s currently operates more than 500 locations across the United States."

Patrick Luther and Matthew Mousavi are the brokers trying to sell the Raising Cane's property near the Louis Joliet Mall.
