9 La Grange Crimes Reported In Last Month
They include vehicle burglaries, a BB shooting, a DUI, vandalism and theft.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Thursday, the first in a month. Here is information from the reports:
BB gun shooting
- Someone shot a BB gun at a house in the 500 block of South Ashland Avenue. The incident was reported May 9.
Vehicle burglaries

- A computer bag and its contents were stolen from a locked, parked car in the 800 block of South 11th Avenue. Officers could find no signs of a forced entry. The burglary was reported about 7:30 a.m. May 12.
- Someone entered a parked truck at an industrial business at 616 E. Cossitt Ave. Nothing was stolen. The burglary was reported May 6.
Aggravated DUI
- Joseph Miller, 63, of Evergreen Park, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. April 20 in the 1000 block of South La Grange Road on charges of aggravated DUI, aggravated driving with a suspended or revoked license, illegal transportation of liquor, driving in the wrong lane, having no insurance and improper backing.
Theft

- Medication was stolen from a purse in the 300 block of Ninth Avenue. The theft was reported May 11.
Vandalism
- Graffiti was reported May 6 in an elevator in the 100 block of West Calendar Avenue.
Identity theft
- A credit card was mailed to a resident April 29 in the 300 block of South Kensington Avenue. She did not apply for it. She suffered no financial loss.
- A resident in the 900 block of Ninth Avenue reported April 25 that someone changed her home address on her student loan account. She suffered no financial loss.
- A resident in the 500 block of Sunset Avenue told police May 7 that she was notified that one of her social media accounts had been tampered with.
