District 102 Seeks New Financial Advisory Committee Members

LaGrange School District 102 is seeking members for the Financial Advisory Committee.

The Financial Advisory Committee is made up of District 102 community members and district employees, including the district’s assistant superintendent for finance, Lauri Kearney, according to the district.

The FAC works with the assistant superintendent of finance to:

• Develop ideas for new revenue streams
• Provide input as needed on construction projects as they occur
• Build relationships with the community
• Prepare financial information in a format that is user friendly, easy for the community to understand and more helpful to the Board

District FAC meetings are usually held one Thursday every month at 6:45 a.m.

The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 18 at the District’s Administration Center.
