Football: LT Running Back Tops 200 Yards in Season's 1st Win

Leonard Ross set a school record for rushing yards in a 31-14 win over Leyden Friday night.

Lyons Township running back Leonard Ross ran for 220 yards and three touchdowns Friday night in the Lions' 31-14 win over Leyden in Northlake, according to HighSchoolCube News.

It was the first win of the 2013 season for Lyons Township (1-2). Leyden dropped to 0-3 with the loss. 

HighSchoolCube reports that the 220 yards gained by Ross is a school record. 

"In addition to Ross’ big day, Fielder completed 13-of-23 passes for 117 yards," the site's game recap reads.
