Gang Graffiti in Park District Bathroom, House Egged for 7th Time: La Grange Police Blotter

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 7
Illegal Driver I
Anne Czachorski, 62, of the 4700 block of St. Joseph Creed Road, Lisle, was arrested by the Chicago Illinois State Police at 3:45 p.m. on an outstanding La Grange Police Department warrant for driving with a suspended license, police said.
Illegal Driver II
Gerardo Ruiz-Medina, 28, of the 0-100 block of South Gail Avenue, Northlake, was stopped at the corner of La Grange Road and Harris Avenue at 3:50 p.m. and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.

TUESDAY, NOV. 6
Pot at LT North
A 16-year-old La Grange Park boy was detained at Lyons Township High School North Campus at 11:04 a.m. and charged as a juvenile with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, police said.

MONDAY, NOV. 5
Illegal Driver III
Yahir Figueroa-Guadarrama, 31, of the 2200 block of North 72nd Court, Elmwood Park, was stopped at the corner of Kensington and Ogden avenues at 7:17 a.m. and charged with driving without a valid license, police said.
SUNDAY, NOV. 4
Teens with Fireworks
Police received a complaint from the 0-100 block of North Brainard Avenue at 11:06 p.m. that several teenagers were lighting off fireworks behind a gas station. Police were unable to locate the group.
DUI at Ogden and Malden
Alisha M. Johns, 26, of the 100 block of South Cass Avenue, Westmont, was stopped on the corner of Ogden and Malden avenues at 12:40 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Woman Reports Sex Offender in Park
A resident reported to police at 3:11 p.m. that her estranged husband, whom she reported as a sex offender, was in a La Grange public park on Saturday night. Police said the call was likely unfounded but are investigating.
Items Thrown at Car
A resident of the 300 block of Bluff Avenue reported at 7:11 a.m. that someone had damaged his vehicle by throwing unknown items at it. The extent of the damage was not reported.
Gang Graffiti in Public Bathroom
Police, acting on a complainant tip at 9:24 a.m., discovered gang-related graffiti in black marker written in a bathroom of the La Grange Park District building on the 500 block of East Avenue; reports say the complainant would remove the graffiti.
SATURDAY, NOV. 3
Illegal Driver IV
A 16-year-old Berwyn boy was stopped at the corner of Ogden and Catherine avenues at 8:45 a.m. and charged with driving without a valid license.
Romney Sign Stolen
A resident of the 0-100 block of Bluff Avenue reported at 10:57 a.m. that his political Romney/Ryan yard sign had been stolen; police entered it as a matter of record.
FRIDAY, NOV. 2
Woman Locks Self in Store Bathroom
A business on the 0-100 block of Burlington Avenue called police at 6:18 p.m. after a woman ran into their store and locked herself in the bathroom. Police eventually confirmed that the woman had been in an argument with her sister outside the store and was upset.
Home Egged for the Seventh Time
A home on the 1100 block of Stone Avenue was egged and reported to police at 9:17 p.m. The resident told police that it was the seventh time her home has been egged and requested a watch. There was no permanent damage to the home.
THURSDAY, NOV. 1
Illegal Driver V
Michael A. Haynes, 26, of the 4100 block of Deyo Avenue, Brookfield, was stopped at the corner of Washington and Ogden avenues at 11:39 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license, police said.
