Great Escape: Do You Know Where The Holy Grail Is?

Escape to the wacky world of Monty Python: This is our idea for you on how to spend time on yourself—not the kids or your long to-do list. Look for Great Escape every Wednesday afternoon and think of it as an alternative to running away with the circus.

Escape from parents' land of car pools, laundry and school lunches to a world of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen and killer rabbits.

Where can you find this world? At Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace through March 6, where Monty Python’s Spamalot is being performed. What better way to escape from everything than with the humor of the legendary British comedy troupe Monty Python. Spamalot is a musical version of the movie, Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The original 2005 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including the Tony Award for Best Musical of the 2004–2005 season.

But you can’t escape on an empty stomach. Drury Lane offers a dinner theater package that includes a three-course menu.
