La Grange Official Likely To Get 4-Year Pact
The agreement includes a pay raise and a car allowance.
LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange's village manager is poised to get a four-year contract with a pay raise.
The current contract for Jack Knight, who was hired in December 2022, is scheduled to expire Monday.
On that day, the Village Board plans to vote on a new contract for Knight.

He was hired in 2022 at a salary of $175,000.
Under the proposed agreement, Knight would make $210,832 a year. The village would also give Knight a $4,200 annual car allowance, which he receives under his current contract.

Before La Grange, Knight was Lisle's assistant manager. In that job, he made $120,500 a year, according to Lisle records.
He has worked in municipal government for two decades.
