La Grange Railroad Crossing Opening Delayed
The village cites the reasons for the delay. The overall project is said to be on schedule.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange on Monday announced that the opening of the Brainard Avenue railroad crossing will be delayed by a week.
The crossing, which closed Aug. 7, was originally set to reopen Aug. 21, but that has been delayed to Aug. 28.
In a statement, the village said the delay was because of contractor limitations and restrictions on working around the BNSF Railway.
