Woman Arrested For Battering La Grange Officer: Police

In another case, a man was accused of stealing a car outside a La Grange restaurant.

A 21-year-old Cicero woman was arrested Nov. 15 at American Legion Post 1941, 900 S. La Grange Road, on a charge of aggravated battery of a police officer, La Grange police said.

LA GRANGE, IL – La Grange police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports:

Aggravated battery

  • Esmeralda E. Perez, 21, of Cicero, was arrested about 11 p.m. Nov. 15 at American Legion Post 1941, 900 S. La Grange Road, on a charge of aggravated battery of a police officer.

Car theft

  • Brian Davenport, 60, of Brookfield, was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of motor vehicle theft. The theft was at Brothers Mexican Grill, 1014 S. La Grange Road, police said.

Retail theft

  • A masked person stole five packs of cigars from 7-Eleven, 9600 E. Ogden Ave. The theft was reported Nov. 30.
  • An unlocked Schwinn bicycle was stolen from a bike rack near the train station at 25 W. Burlington Ave. The bike was valued at $1,500. The case is pending.
