La Grange Refuse Collection Shifts for the Holidays
Christmas trees will be collected in January.

The Village of La Grange has announced the waste collection schedule for the holidays. Both Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Fridays this year.
- Residents south of 47th Street will receive refuse collection service on Thursday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 31.
- Residents north of 47th Street will receive refuse collection service on Monday, Dec. 28 and Monday, Jan. 4.
Republic Service will collect Christmas trees from the parkway as part of the regularly scheduled refuse pick up day on Jan. 4 and 7. and Jan. 11 and 14.
There is no charge for this service, and a sticker is not required. All ornaments, tinsel, lights and other inorganic material should be removed before the tree is put on the parkway.

Wreaths, garland and similar holiday decorations should be discarded with household refuse, for which a refuse sticker is required.
