Deborah Tracy and Therese Hawkins: Nazareth Academy is a Catholic, Coed, College Prep High School inspired by the mission and spirituality of the Congregation of Saint Joseph. We are committed to academic excellence, educating the whole person and fostering a community of inclusivity rooted in Gospel values. Above all we value Scholarship, Service, Spirit and Unity.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Deborah Tracy and Therese Hawkins: We are celebrating 125 years in La Grange/La Grange Park. Nazareth Academy was founded in 1900 by the Congregation of St. Joseph.
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Deborah Tracy and Therese Hawkins: The Sisters saw a need for Catholic education in the Western suburbs and founded Nazareth Academy to meet that need.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Deborah Tracy and Therese Hawkins: "As all of you consider your high school options, we urge you to pay attention to the unique atmosphere and culture of each school you visit. Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Deborah Tracy and Therese Hawkins: Each year at Graduation, we send 100% our class off to colleges and universities all over the world with the advice to "Go Light Your World" and year after year we are rewarded with stories of the amazing ways they do just that.
Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Deborah Tracy and Therese Hawkins: Nazareth fosters a culture of inclusivity and a welcoming environment. When this is added to the outstanding academic curriculum, Nazareth can successfully educate the whole person while preparing them for success in college and beyond.
