What’s your favorite thing about Nazareth?
I love the “work hard/play hard” atmosphere. The students really push themselves in the classroom and try to achieve their academic goals. Outside of the classroom, most students are involved in various clubs or sports. You can see everyone’s school spirit at football games or see their creativity shine through on stage in musicals or plays.
What are your post high school plans?
I plan on majoring in computer science in college. My top choices for schools are Georgia Tech and University of Illinois.
Please choose one of Nazareth’s Four Pillars (Scholarship, Service, Spirit, Unity) and describe what it means to you.
Service does not just mean a soup kitchen or food pantry. Service can also be picking something you are passionate about and working to make a change in that area. Nazareth’s Service hours can be a great way to explore different opportunities and find something that really speaks to you.
What’s one thing people might not know about you?
I am going into my tenth year of being a Girl Scout. I planned and moderated a panel discussion about STEM careers and college learning for my Gold Award project. I wanted to do something to introduce girls to STEM fields.
