Plainfield Road Corridor Study: Invitation To Provide Public Comment
The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways is gathering information to evaluate transportation needs.
The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways is conducting a study and gathering information from the community to evaluate future transportation needs along the Plainfield Road corridor, from County Line Road in Burr Ridge to East Avenue in La Grange. The study includes addressing existing roadway and drainage deficiencies, enhancing bicycle / pedestrian accommodations, and improving safety and mobility for all users.
The information collected from the survey will be used to develop plans for future improvements to the Plainfield Road corridor. A preferred design is anticipated in Fall, 2022.
