Sgt. Jeff Miller was honored with the “Award of Merit” for his exceptional attitude, attendance, work ethic and professionalism towards serving the residents of Riverside.
“Sgt. Miller has continuously demonstrated his commitment to serving the residents of Riverside with compassion and professionalism and he is a very deserving recipient of these prestigious award,” said Riverside Chief Thomas Weitzel.

The award presentation was held Nov. 3 at Moraine Valley Community College and was attended by Chief Thomas Weitzel, Lt. Bill Gutschick and Village President Benjamin Sells.
Weitzel nominated Sgt. Miller for the award.
