Sedan Driver Offers Young Girls a Ride in La Grange: Police
The suspicious man asked the girls twice if they wanted a ride.

A man driving a white, four-door sedan offered two young girls a ride around 5:30 p.m. Dec. 17 near 47th Street and Edgewood Avenue.
The man is described as in his 20s with a medium complexion and a small amount of facial hair, according to La Grange police.
A 13-year-old girl and an 11-year-old girl were walking home eastbound on the south sidewalk of 47th Street when the driver stopped and asked them if they wanted a ride. The girls told him ”No” and kept walking.

The driver asked them a second time if they wanted a ride, and the girls yelled “No” and ran home, police reported. The girls told their mother, who contacted police. The driver and car weren’t found in an area search.
A similar incident took place Nov. 19, when the driver of a van asked a girl to help him find his dog. That man was described as in his 40s in a white van.
