Top Grades At Hinsdale, La Grange Hospitals: Group

HINSDALE, IL – The AdventHealth hospitals in Hinsdale and La Grange recently received "A" grades in hospital safety for the 10th year in a row from a national rating group.

They are only two of 34 hospitals nationwide and six in Illinois to receive the top grade every year since 2013, the AdventHealth chain said in a news release.

The ratings are issued by the Leapfrog Group, a nonprofit organization.

The latest grades reflect safety during the height of the pandemic, according to Leapfrog.

"We find with these hospital safety grades that patient safety has suffered major setbacks nationally during the pandemic," said Leah Binder, Leapfrog's president. "But that's not the case at these two hospitals, which have earned straight 'A' grades for more than a decade."
