Someone stole a landscaping leaf blower Oct. 6 that was left unattended behind the Lyons Township Corral building sometime between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., according to Western Springs police. The stolen item was valued less than $300.
Someone stole an unattended, unlocked girl’s bicycle that was left on a bike rack at Forest Hills School sometime between 8:30 a.m. Oct. 5 and 8:45 a.m. Oct. 6., according to Western Springs police.The stolen bike was valued at $480.

Someone stole two iPhones and an undetermined amount of cash that were left unattended inside an unlocked conference room at the Western Springs Baptist Church. The theft reportedly took place Oct. 10 sometime between 4:20 and 5:30p.m.
Three teenagers were arrested Oct. 10 and issued local ordinance citations after police responded to a complaint of teenage boys urinating on the street in Spring Rock Park, according to Western Springs police. Officers confirmed that all three defendants had consumed alcoholic beverages and a bottle of vodka was found in the possession of one of them. One teen is from Western Springs, and the other two are from Burr Ridge.
