Dillon, the board's president, is an account manager for a marketing agency, while Daniels is a lawyer.

Albores is the director of student services for Plainfield School District 202.

Three of the board's seven seats are up in the election.

Many critics of the school's administration are backing Evans, Herndon and Vlcek.

Clark appears to be in the middle of the two groups of candidates. He has a background in education, serving as an associate principal at Richards High School in Oak Lawn.

Despite his educational connection, the union passed up endorsing him.
