Police said a 50-year-old Zion woman was driving the Jeep and attempting to illegally pass a tow truck that was hauling a semi tractor when she hit the Kia. The collision caused the Jeep to spin and hit the tow truck and another vehicle.
Police said both young boys in the Kia suffered critical injuries and neither child was wearing a seat belt.
