Lake Forest police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a home burglary that occurred Sept. 13. Police said someone pried open a rear door of a home on the 1400 block of Kurtis Lane between 9 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. and ransacked several rooms. The homeowners reported more than $300,000 worth of jewelry missing. No one was home at the time of the burglary. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Kevin Zelk at (847) 810-3816 or zelkk@cityoflakeforest.com.
