Construction Company Plans To Remodel, Move Into Lake Bluff Building
Altounian Construction's plans for the former home of Anatol Equipment Manufacturing go before the Lake Bluff Architectural Board of Review.

LAKE BLUFF, IL — Plans to remodel an office building in Lake Bluff are due to be presented next week to the Lake Bluff Architectural Board of Review.
Altounian Construction plans to remodel and move into the former headquarters of Anatol Manufacturing Company at 919 Sherwood Drive, according to village staff.
Altounian aims to add a mezzanine floor above the office area in the front of the existing building, Mike Croak, the village's building codes supervisor, said in a memo to the review board.

Remodeling plans also include adding 11 new windows on the front and 10 more on the side of the building, as well as a new door on the west side of the 24,000-square-foot building.
The construction firm has previously been headquartered at 13110 Rockland Road in unincorporated Knollwood.

Anatol, which produces screen printing machines and other equipment, has moved to 1429 S. Shields Drive in Waukegan.
Members of the architectural review board will have the opportunity to question village staff and representatives of the builders before issuing its recommendation to the village board.
The board is scheduled to consider the plans at its 6 p.m. Tuesday special meeting.
