Glass Menagerie Opens Friday at Gorton

CenterStage in Lake Forest presents Tennessee Williams drama for next three weekends.

A production of the Tennessee Williams’ drama “The Glass Menagerie” produced by CenterStage in Lake Forest opens at 8 p.m. today at the Gorton Center.

The play will run for the next three weekends beginning at 8 p.m. today, Saturday, March 15, March 16, March 22 and March 23. There will also be a 3 p.m. performance Sunday and March 17.

The role of  Amanda Wingfield will be played by Barb Anderson, Sally Wippman will be Laura Wingfield, Dan Haymes takes on the part of Tom Wingfield and John Ham will be “gentleman caller” Jim O’Conner.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. They can be purchased online through the CenterStage website. The local company is now in its 42nd season.
