The Hunt Is On: Lake Forest Easter Egg Hunt is April 19

Mark your calendars for this year's egg hunt in Lake Forest, happening on April 19.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Easter is right around the corner, and this year the Lake Forest community can celebrate with a community egg hunt on April 19.

The Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free outdoor egg hunt at Deerpath Community Park for kids up to fourth grade. The hunt will be divided into two sections based on age, starting at 9 a.m. for kids kindergarten and under and 9:45 for kids in first through fourth grades.

Children will search for over 6,000 eggs with the chance of discovering the golden egg.
