The day-long celebration of the holidays kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 1.
"It's a Wonderful Life...in Lake Bluff" is a day-long celebration of the holiday season from the Lake Bluff downtown merchants. Come join your friends and neighbors for a day full of food, fun and shopping! Downtown Lake Bluff will kick off the event at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
- 9:30-11:30: Ornament making, hot chocolate and cookies at Baytree National Bank
- 10-5: Free glow lights from Artists on the Bluff at the train station (for the first 500 people)
- 10-5: Businesses open for holiday shopping
- 10-5: Wristwatch trunk show and raffles at Clockworks
- 10-12: Story time with the Library Elf and drop in craft fun at the Lake Bluff Library
- 10-3: Hot cider at Bluffington's
- 11-2: Horse-drawn carriage rides courtesy of Lake Forest Bank and Trust
- 12-3: "Merry Massages" with Lake Bluff Massage Therapy (10 minute foot/chair massage)
- 12-3: Visit with Santa at the Lake Bluff History Museum
- 3-5: Live reindeer and their elves visit downtown Lake Bluff
- 2-4: Strolling carolers from Lake Forest High School
- 4-5: The Buckthorns perform seasonal favorites at Inovasi
- 5: Gazebo lighting celebration on the Green
