Lake Bluff Library Invites Community to Support the Little Pantry
Library encourages donations ahead of November 10 opening to help stock new community resource.

Lake Bluff, IL – The Lake Bluff Library is encouraging community members to help neighbors in need by donating to the Library’s Little Pantry, which officially opens Monday, November 10. “Take what you need; give what you can.” This ongoing initiative provides accessible support to local families, and every donation—no matter how small—makes a real difference.
Community members are invited to begin donating now during Library operating hours to help stock the Pantry ahead of its opening.
The Little Pantry accepts a variety of essential items, including:
- Nonperishable food: Unexpired cans, boxes, and bags of food, plus baby formula.
- Hygiene products: New/unused menstrual products, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and soap.
Donations can be dropped off at the Little Pantry, located on the shelf next to the elevator in the vestibule of the Library, under the Community Board. Each contribution helps ensure that community members have access to basic necessities and support during times of need.
“Every little bit helps,” said Natalie Starosta, Library Director. “We are grateful to our generous community for keeping the Little Pantry stocked and helping neighbors feel cared for.”
