Lake Forest Obituary: Debra Adams, 58

Debra L. Adams of Lake Forest passed away at home on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the age of 58.

She is survived by her husband Robert; her three daughters, Courtney, Kelsey, and Mackenzie; her mother Pat; and her sister Paula. She was a loving aunt to her sister’s two daughters, Jessica and Britt. Debra was sister-in-law to Richard Adams and his wife Kristine of Lake Forest; and aunt to their three children, Connor, Jack, and Lindsay.

Debra was born February 21 to Pat and the late Paul Muyskens of Orange City, Iowa. She graduated with a music degree from Northwestern College in Orange City and received her MBA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she met her husband of 32 years.

Debra lived in Lake Forest for many decades and enjoyed a career in private accounting in Highland Park.

She loved moments when her family was together, particularly during their summer trips to their home in Clear Lake, Indiana. Debra’s greatest joy was being a devoted wife and a dedicated mother to her three daughters.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 7, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave., Lake Forest. The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, at Christ Church, 100 N. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest. Interment private. Info: 847-234-0022 or www.wenbanfh.com.
