LAKE FOREST, IL — The information below comes from Lake Forest police and Lake County courts as a record of those arrested by police. Being arrested does not mean a person is guilty of the charged offense. Criminal charges merely represent accusations by the state are often dropped or reduced. Everyone named below is innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. Updated information about the following cases may be available from the Lake County Circuit Clerk of Courts.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Robert C. Young, 71, of the 900 block of Rockland Road, Lake Forest, was arrested on Jan. 17 in connection with allegations of criminal damage at the Knollwood Club, 1890 Knollwood Road, that occurred in January 2023. He was also arrested the prior month in connection with a similar allegation.

Luis Piza-Arellanes, 34, of the 500 block of Porter Street, Waukegan, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 near Westleigh Road and Western Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after officers on patrol witnessed him driving with expired plates. They also issued him citations for driving an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Ronkeith D. Gulley, 44, of the 1700 block of Barrett Court, North Chicago, was arrested around 1 a.m. on Jan. 25 and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a valid license and unlawful possession of cannabis following a traffic stop at Route 41 and Deerpath Road. Police said they pulled Gulley over for speeding, learned he had no driver's license and then noticed a gun in his car, which he admitted was stolen. Officers also issued him citations for speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Becki J. Miranda, 46, of the 400 block of Buena Road, Lake Forest, was arrested around 5:15 p.m. on Jan. 28 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after officers noticed her commit several lane violations an determined she was impaired. Officers also issued her a citation for improper lane usage.

Lynn M. Nohlgren, 51, of the 800 block of Clarke Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested around 10:15 p.m. on Jan. 27 and charged with battery after police were called to a report of a disturbance in the emergency room at Lake Forest Hospital, 1000 Westmoreland Road. Police determined that Nohlgren had struck another person with an object and had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in Lake County court on other charges.

Judeen L. Dakin, 24, of the 1100 block of West Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 10:15 p.m. on Jan. 31 and charged with criminal trespassing and resisting arrest after police were called to the 400 block of East Deerpath Road for a report of an unwanted person. Officers determined Dakin was trespassing and said she resisted their attempts to take her into custody.

Adam T. Grubba, 48, of the 500 block of North Wilshire Lane, Arlington Heights, was arrested around 7 a.m. on Feb. 1 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following an investigation into a traffic crash involving several cars at the intersection of Everett Road and Barn Lane. Officers determined Grubba was at fault in the crash and showed signs of being drunk and issued him citations for disregarding a traffic control light and driving an uninsured vehicle.

Devin Contreras, 27, of the 1900 block of Wesley Avenue, Evanston, was arrested around 3 p.m. on Feb. 3 and charged with criminal trespassing in the 500 block of Western Avenue after having been previously issued a trespassing warning at the business. He is also facing other charges, including assault, stemming from incidents in Highland Park and a charge of shoplifting in Lake Forest.

Marzette Henderson, 53, of the 5000 block of South Dorchester Avenue, Chicago, was arrested around 8 p.m. on Feb. 4 and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawful possession of cannabis following a traffic stop on Route 41 at Deerpath Road. Officers noticed several indicators of illegal drugs inside the car and signs that Henderson was intoxicated before taking him into custody. He was also issued citations for speeding, improper lane usage and disregarding a traffic light.
