Summer Author Series Continues Friday

will continue its Summer Friday author series at 6:45 p.m. today with a Novel Affair Preview.

Join Naomi McEneely, Lake Forest Book Store's events coordinator, as she reviews Ragdale's Novel Affair 2012 authors and their books. will hold a wine tasting in conjunction with the event. 

Authors and books to be discussed include Carol Anshaw, author of Carry the One and Lucky in the Corner, Ramona Ausubel, author of No One is Here Except All of Us, Jamie Ford, author of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, Robert Hicks, author of The Widow of the South and A Separate Country, Elinor Lipman, author of Then She Found Me and The Family Man, Gregory Maguire, author of Wicked and Out of Oz, James Ragan, Award-winning poet, playwright, and screenwriter, Anita Shreve, author of The Weight of Water and The Pilot's Wife, and Garth Stein, author of The Art of Racing in the Rain. 

Wine tasting begins at 6:45 p.m. and book reviews will begin at 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public; participants of the wine tasting must be 21 or older and will be asked to furnish appropriate identification. There is a discount available for wine purchases made during the event.
