Thanksgiving 2025 Grocery Store Hours For Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, IL — Many grocery stores in Lake Forest will be open at least part of Thanksgiving Day to fill the last-minute shopping needs.

However, many major retailers have continued the trend of closing for the holiday, including Aldi,
Costco, Target and Walmart, which will all be closed on Nov. 27 for Thanksgiving. Some local grocery stores may be closed on the holiday, it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure your closest local shop is open.

Amazon Fresh: Stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Costco: All stores will be closed, as they are on all national holidays.

Food4Less: It varies by location, but any store open on Thanksgiving Day will close by 8 p.m.

The Fresh Market: Stores are open; hours will vary by store. The Lake Forest location will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Heinen's Grocery Store: The Lake Bluff market will be closed.

Jewel-Osco: All stores are open; check your store for exact hours. Pharmacy hours may vary.
