Some grocery stores in Lake Forest will be open on Thanksgiving for those who need to get some last-minute items.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Many grocery stores in Lake Forest will be open at least part of Thanksgiving Day to fill the last-minute shopping needs.
However, many major retailers have continued the trend of closing for the holiday, including Aldi,
Costco, Target and Walmart, which will all be closed on Nov. 27 for Thanksgiving. Some local grocery stores may be closed on the holiday, it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure your closest local shop is open.

Food4Less: It varies by location, but any store open on Thanksgiving Day will close by 8 p.m.
