Ela Public Library's Elevator Out of Service

The Ela Public Library's elevator is temporarily out of service due to a leak in the main cyclinder, limiting accessibility to the second floor.

The mechanical failure requires the replacement of custom components. Parts have been ordered, and the Library has applied for a permit to proceed with the repair. It may take several weeks to fix.

The library staff will accommodate visitors with compromised mobility by bringing materials downstairs upon request. Staff will also provide access to computers at one of our first floor Labs. Please contact the Information Desk for any other requests or assistance.
