The Fa-Boo-Lous Halloween Hustle Returns to Palatine October 28
Enjoy registration discounts if you sign up by October 13, and proceeds support the nonprofit, Boys & Girls Club of Palatine.

It’s time to get spooky and register now for the Halloween Hustle 5K and Kids Dash! Grab your favorite Halloween costume and prepare to dash through the streets of downtown Palatine on the morning of Saturday, October 28. The start and finish line is at Adrenaline Special Events – the company that founded Halloween Hustle more than 13 years ago – located at 345 N. Eric Drive just one block west of Palatine’s downtown.
The Kids Dash begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. A virtual option is also available for those who can’t attend the live race but would still like to participate! Special discounted pricing is available for registrations, purchased now through Friday, October 13.
A portion of the race proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Palatine, a nonprofit organization that offers programs in the core areas of education and career development, character and leadership, health and life skills, STEM, sports, and fitness, all provided in a fun and enriching environment in which children thrive.

All adult Halloween Hustle registrations come with a long sleeve, dri-fit shirt, a “fangtastic” finishers medal, a race timing bib and a free “witch’s brew” beverage at the after party. Kids Dash participants receive a race bib, finisher medal, a pumpkin and a kids’ shirt. Virtual participants will receive a Halloween Hustle shirt, medal, and additional fun swag delivered right to their home or business. Virtual participants can also take part in the costume contest – as long as they wear a costume!
“Halloween Hustle has become a long-standing tradition and a great way to make memories with family and friends, and we’re proud to be a part of that,” said Adrenaline Special Events founder, Aaron Del Mar. “Everyone is welcome to participate in this family-friendly event – including runners, walkers and moms or dads with little ones in strollers.”

This “un-boo-lievable” after party will take place at Tap House Grill, 56 W. Wilson Street in downtown Palatine, where participants will receive a complimentary beverage and mini breakfast sandwich! The post-race awards ceremony will also be held at the restaurant to award the prize for the best costume and top overall finishers in each age group.
