Lake Zurich Police Blotter: Retail Theft, DUIs and More

The following information was provided by the Lake Zurich Police Department.

Criminal Trespass

Dalasani V. Cummings, 36, of Lake Zurich, was charged with criminal trespass. The incident happened in the 800 block of S. Rand Road.

Theft

A girl reported that money was taken from her school bag in the 400 block of Cuba Road in early November.

Car Burglary

An unlocked vehicle was burglarized sometime in the last couple of weeks and a cellular telephone was taken. The incident happened in the 600 block of Burr Oak Drive and was reported on Dec. 11.

Battery Investigation

A man reported Dec. 13 thatΒ he was battered in the 100 block of N. Old Rand Road. The man said he was followed home by the offender after a dispute over some property.

DUI

James R. Kinnett, 34, of Vernon Hills, was charged with DUI on Route 22 at Main Street in Lake Zurich on Dec. 13. Kinnett also was charged with expired registration, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal open transportation of an alcoholic beverage.

DUI

Jesus D. Arreguin, 34, of Island Lake, was charged with DUI on Route 12 at Miller Road on Dec. 15. He also was charged with speeding, defective windshield, improper lane use, illegal open transportation of an alcoholic beverage.

Retail Theft

Teresa Drozdz, 57, of Lake Zurich, was charged with retail theft on Dec. 15 forΒ an incident at 725 W. Highway 22. The value of the item(s) was $35.

Retail Theft

Kristopher P. Minyard, 28, of Fox Lake, was charged with retail theft for an incident that happened at 675 N. Rand Road. The value of the item(s) was $60.
