Man Found In Bedroom Watching Child Porn During Police Search: Cops

LAKE ZURICH, IL — A 24-year-old Lake Zurich man accused of possessing dozens of child pornography videos and photos was found watching pornographic video of a young child while police searched his home this past week, authorities said.
Jared R. Honegger, 24, of the 0 to 100 block of Terrace Lane in Lake Zurich, was taken into custody after Lake County Sheriff’s Office tactical response team and members of the Illinois Attorney General’s Cybercrime Unit conducted the search at his home Tuesday, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Digital forensic examiners with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office conducted an analysis on Honegger’s cell phone, where they located over 90 images and videos of child pornography, with many of the children being under the age of 13 years old, police said.

Honegger was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail, and he has been charged with five counts of child pornography.
