Mom's Song Moves Baby to Tears

Parents often sing to their kids to get them to sleep, make them giggle or get them to stop crying - not to make them cry. But that's the reaction this mom got when she sang a song of heartbreak to her baby.

The 10-month-old baby, Mary Lynne Leroux, seemed to understand the lyrics and feel the emotions as her mom Amanda sang a heartfelt rendition of "My Heart Can't Tell You No."

The YouTube video was shared via Reddit by our partners at Huffington Post. Amanda and her baby were identified by Canada's TVA. The mom told TVA that "she is too shy to sing in public" but that she likes to sing at home.

The baby is apparently is melting other people's hearts, as the video has gone viral. So far, 285,214 people liked it on Facebook and 58,475 people shared it, 1,814 people shared it on Twitter and 836 people commented on it.

Maybe next time, the mom should try singing something a little more upbeat like "The Wheels on the Bus."
