• Lake Zurich police squad struck while officer was conducting a traffic stop (dailyherald.com) — A Lake Zurich police squad car was hit on Route 12 near June Terrace during a Tuesday night traffic stop, though no injuries were reported. Police say a 60-year-old McHenry woman is facing DUI and multiple traffic-related charges, including violating Scott’s Law, after allegedly striking the marked squad while its emergency lights were activated.
