Village offering bigger recycling cans for free

The Village of Lake Zurich is offering residents a chance to upgrade to a 96-gallon recycling can without paying the regular $25 fee. Residents are normally issued a 64-gallon recycling can, but seniors and townhome residents can request a smaller, 35-gallon can. Residents interested in a 96-gallon can should call Waste Management at 1-800-796-9696.
