Community Blood Drive Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — State Representative Nicole La Ha has partnered with Rainbow Property Maintenance to host a community blood drive on Sept. 6 in Lemont. The blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to noon aboard the Rainbow Property Maintenance Mobile Bus, which will be stationed at 106 Stephen St.

“Giving blood is one of the simplest, most powerful ways we can support our neighbors,” La Ha said in a release. “I’m grateful to Rainbow Property Maintenance for stepping up and making this event possible.”

Every pint donated can save up to three lives, and with hospitals facing ongoing shortages, community participation is more critical than ever, according to a news release.

Blood donations are by appointment.
