Masks Required at Park District Facilities
A state-wide indoor mask mandate is effective starting Monday.
LEMONT, IL — With the reinstatement of the state-wide mask mandate, face masks are required indoors in Lemont Park District facilities starting Monday.
The park district said in a letter to the community that those who are not wearing face coverings in park district facilities will be asked to leave. The service desk will also have some masks available for anyone who may have forgotten to bring one.
"The Lemont Park District will always put safety first and continue to follow all local, state and federal COVID-19 safety guidelines and mandates," the park district said.

Last week, Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced the state-wide indoor mask mandate, regardless of a person's vaccination status. The mandate returns as the state sees increasing COVID-19 infection rates and hospitalization rates, especially in areas downstate, according to a release from IDPH.
