Obituary: Edward W. Tiedt

LEMONT, IL — Edward W. Tiedt, age 69, of Lemont, passed away on March 31, 2023, with his family at his side.

Dearest son of the late Wilfred J. (late Magaret); loving father of Robert Tiedt, Jake (Nicole) Tiedt, and Emmy Tiedt; Adored grandfather of Dominic; cherished brother of Margie (Joe)
Szynkowski, John (Sheryl) Mitchell, Maureen (late Al) Tiedt, and the late Robert (Joanne) Tiedt; fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward was a tuckpointer, with former Union Local # 52, and later served as a business agent, for the Local later in his career.

Visitation will be held on April 6, from 3 to 8 p.m. and on April 7 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C., 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Interment: private.
