LEMONT, IL — Jerome L. “Jerry” Blickhahn, 85, of Lemont, passed away on April 10 with his family at his side. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jerry was a graduate of Rose-Hulman University and was employed as a chemical engineer. He was an active member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Parish.

Beloved husband of Estelle, nee Ertman, Blickhahn; loving father of Robert (Anne) Blickhahn and Paul (Francine) Blickhahn; cherished grandfather of Christine, Tim, Elizabeth, Steven, and David; dearest brother of Thomas (Barbara) Blickhahn; and fond uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 – 8 p.m. on Monday at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services at 9:30 a.m on Tuesday, April 19 from the funeral home to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
