Obituary: Nancy Volrath

LEMONT, IL — Nancy Volrath (nee Dominick), age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Aug. 12.

Preceded in death by her parents Connie and Cecilia Dominick and her loving husband of 59 years, Harold.

Beloved Mother of Greg (Michelle) Volrath and Andrea (David) Baker; cherished Grandmother to Melanie and Kurt Volrath, Becca(Jared) Ekle and Dylan Baker.

Nancy was born and raised in Lemont. She was a lifelong parishioner of SS. Cyril and Methodius, and she was a proud member of their choir as well as The 56 Club. Nancy had a great career, working as a legal secretary for the Department of Energy.

Memorial visitation on Aug. 17, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home P.C., 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral Mass on Aug. 17 at 11:30 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
